Meltdown and Spectre security flaw

Meltdown and Spectre are security flaws found in device processors. These bugs could potentially lead to attackers being able to access sensitive data, such as passwords and banking information.

What devices is it affecting?
The security flaw is affecting almost every modern computing device from all manufacturers using chip designs from Intel, AMD and ARM. This includes laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones and cloud computing systems.

What can I do about the Meltdown and Spectre flaws?
Companies have been releasing patches for specific devices and so it is advised that customers update their device with the latest security fixes as soon as they become available.
