Launch of new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 devices

At the August 2019 Galaxy UNPACKED event, Samsung announced the next generation of Galaxy Note smartphones:

Samsung Galaxy Note 10
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G

These smartphones will be available to pre-order from 8th August and will be released from the 23rd August.

The Note 10 range will be available in the following colours: 

  • Aura Glow
  • Aura Black (gloss)

Key features on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10:

  • A larger screen in a slimmer body: 
    • 6.3″ screen
    • 90.5% screen to body ratio
    • 151mm x 71.8mm x 7.9mm body
    • strong build quality with Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and back (Gorilla Glass 3 on the camera lenses)
    • 167g weight
  • Improved camera and microphone features:
    • Rear: wide: 12MP, Dual Aperture, 77 degree field of view
    • Rear: ultra wide: 16MP, F2.2, FF, 123 degree field of view
    • Rear: telephoto: 12MP, F2.1, 2x optical zoom
    • Front: 10MP, smaller size and 2.2 aperture for brighter shots in night mode
    • 3x microphones including a Zoom in Mic feature that records sound from where you’re filming while cancelling out other noise

  • New S Pen features:
    • Air Actions allow you to interact with your smartphone while gesturing with the S Pen
    • convert handwritten notes to text that can be copied to the clipboard with a tap
    • 5 colours to use on Screen Off memo: white, green, yellow, blue, red
    • new S Pen sounds when writing
    • 6 minutes of charging provides 11 hours of S Pen usage
    • S Pen range increased to 40m
  • New ways to use your Galaxy Note:
    • Bixby routines can be used to automate features on your smartphone and any other devices connected through SmartThings
    • use Live Message with videos up to 15 seconds long
    • record your screen at 720p video quality with the Screen Recorder feature
    • connect DeX to your PC with a single cable and multitask with up to 5 windows open at once (app has to be downloaded)
    • Link to Windows feature allows you to connect to a Windows PC without DeX to view photos, messages, notifications and even mirror your device (Phone Companion app has to be downloaded)
  • AKG USB-C headphones:
    • AKG USB-C headphones are included in the box
    • the headphone jack has been removed
  • Dual SIM card:
    • the Galaxy Note 10 can hold up to 2 x 4G sim cards

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+:

The Galaxy Note 10+ is a larger and more powerful version of the Galaxy Note 10, with extra features including a bigger screen, more memory and battery capacity, a 4th camera and a microSD slot.

The Galaxy Note 10+ has the following different features when compared to the Galaxy Note 10:

    • 6.8″ screen
    • 90.7% screen to body ratio
    • 162.3mm x 77.2mm x 7.9mm body
    • 198g
  • Rear Time of Flight camera: this 4th rear camera can measure distance for better Live Focus and measurement taking

    • 38 hours of use on a full charge (based on average user behaviour)
  • Memory and storage:
    • internal storage: 256GB and 512GB options
    • RAM: 12GB
    • external storage: MicroSD card up to 1TB
  • Dual SIM cards and MicroSD card options:
    • 2 x 4G SIM cards
    • 1 x 4G SIM card and 1 x MicroSD card

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G:

The Galaxy Note 10+ 5G has the same features as the Galaxy Note 10+ with the addition of 5G capability and a 1TB storage option.

  • Dual SIM cards and MicroSD card options:
