There is a text message scam currently circulating on Android mobile devices:

The scam: The message poses as a parcel courier, prompting users to download a tracking application to locate a parcel. Unfortunately, the app is actually malicious spyware.
The after result: Once the user has downloaded the app, the spyware (Named Flubot) will infiltrate the mobile device, gathering any sensitive data.

Advice to customers:

– Do not click any links in the SMS message
– Delete the SMS from your device
– Report it to your network or the courier service using an official line of communication
